A rebel writer knows how to connect to this universe. He slowly became a sage renouncing the material things and clinging-on to his philosophy. That’s the reason the Rebel writer Gauri Shanker(Vijay Sethupathi) when he found his house ransacked, he never searched for the precious furniture or things but he looked for his manuscript.
Writers know they can transform this world in writing, but the revolutionists believe you cannot change society just by writing.
Yess!
the writer has a revolutionist inside, he knows the structure of the society will never allow them to live long. That’s why when he was about to be killed, he smiles coz he was expecting every second and when it came, he smiles on the murders like telling “why you people are so late”.
The writer knows they can touch people’s heart and stay, slowly their philosophy can be transformed into the behaviour of every reader. I know people who have read about how we Indians exploited in the name of Globalization. And I truly found that readers stop using those products and foods. That’s why Gaurishanker was killed. He may be nothing to the society but he will stay as an organ in the body of the reader and make them protest invisibly.
Here, The heroine wanted to visit Gaurishanker’s sister’s house to feel him and also she hugged his sister in a way to show she can’t hug him coz he is no more but his sister is nothing but his DNA.
Fantastic scene!!
Sometimes, a small conversation with a stranger will leave a long lasting relationship with them and definitely we carry on with their goal like how our heroine carries his work knowingly she will face the same fate. She looks at the shop before closing it, knowingly any day will be her last day.
Her death would arrive on the same day or maybe another day.
Finally, these movies will not attract 99% of the population because they are tied down to the pattern of the society i.e. exploiters.
Very few people will love this movie as if it really happened on their street.
Lovely movie!
