Aladdin Lamp

The story is not just a story but a metaphor for our life.

Take Aladdin and the Lamp,
The lamp stands as the mind and the Genie is Cosmos. The Aladdin should ask what he wants hence the genie will bring. If Aladdin doesn’t know what he wants then Genie cannot bring. Hence you should know what you want hence the world will conceive for you. There are so many books that try to explain, if you have a true desire the world helps you to conceive.

Here, the lamp is a metaphor for your thinking. An initiative to let you know what you want. It’s like you put effort into knowing yourself and your wants. Once you arrive at what is on your list then you can tell your mind to register it as ambition. The ambition will be taking the role of your desire. Once you know the desire it will be communicated to the cosmos called Genie. The Cosmos job is to help you to conceive your desire to come true.

The Lamp is nothing but a thinking mind and you use it to know the desire that is rubbing the lamp.
The thought becomes your desire and you tell God or cosmos in the name of prayer that is Genie.
Then it is the responsibility of the cosmos to see that desire come true. It’s an act of genie to bring it true in the story.

There is always an immense wisdom loaded in children’s stories. There are two ways to know the stories. In the beginning of your age you can enjoy it as entertainment and then the same stories stay in your mind and help you to understand the world. How to conceive your desire then slowly slips into your ambition and to bring it true.

Finally,
You should ask precisely about the cosmos, not vaguely.
Suppose you want to become rich, then you should know how much money you want to accumulate through your profession. You should ask 10 million or 15 million.
If you ask blindly, I want to become rich. You will never become rich because the cosmos will give you a few thousand dollars.
Why, because giving you a few thousand dollars is considered to be rich compared to people who live in war torn Africa.
