Speech

We use jargon while appreciating others e.g. Good, Intelligence, Brilliant..etc.

Actually, we never know that these words carry a meaning which runs for a few thousand kilometres.
Hence when we appreciate a person on the stage, be precise where he is knowledgeable or intelligent, and at which point he stands better than others..
In short,
you have to precisely point to a place where he is outstanding. it is always better to express with some anecdote, story, jokes..etc. hence the audience will try to connect the real meaning behind your addresses.

For example
if you’re trying to define knowledge vs intelligence
instead of giving a lecture on the above topic, try to bring an anecdote hence the audience will remember your meaning.

Here is one:
There was a student who is studying 3rd year in college and never had any friends.
He went to the librarian and asked him, “Are there any books on how to make friends.”
The Librarian replied, “Go to the third row, you find a book called ‘How to win friends and influence people’ written by Dale Carnegie.”
After a month,
The same student returns to the library telling this book doesn’t work out.
Now, the librarian suggested that he will give the list of the last 3 years of students who borrowed this book, you can reach them because they too borrowed these books, they too struggled to have friends. Hence, If you reach them, you may make new friends.

Now understand the first act of librarian is Knowledge
the second act is Intelligence..
